Molecular mechanism of ABI3 action
Applications are invited for a Band 6 post-doctoral position to work on the molecular
mechanism of action of the Arabidopsis developmental regulator ABI3. The project will
involve cloning of candidate proteins that interact with ABI3, identification of functional
domains within the ABI3 protein, and application of new methodologies to pinpoint
when ABI3 expression is required to initiate commitment to dormancy.

The appointee should have a Ph.D in molecular biology/molecular genetics and an
interest in the application of new methodologies to study biological problems.
The appointment will be in the Band 6 grade (£ 13 951 to £ 24 174 depending on age
