Biology Instructor
Applications are invited for a non-tenure track instructor position in the
Biology Department at the University of Rochester. Responsibilities include
teaching two sections of an introductory biology course during the Spring
semester. Comparable teaching responsibilities in the Fall semester will be
based on the successful applicant's interest and experience.
The 9 month appointment will begin in January, 1996 with a starting salary range
of $24,000 to $27,000. A minimum of three years commitment is expected.
Additional compensation is available for teaching summer courses.
A Ph.D. in an appropriate field is required and a solid foundation in genetics
is desirable. Selection of a candidate will be based on teaching experience or
potential.
