Royal Holloway, as part of the University of London, exists to promote
education and scholarship for the public benefit.
A postdoctoral position, funded by MAFF's Micronutrient Programme, is
available to study the role of dietary carotenoids in the protection
against oxidative damage in humans. The research conducted in Dr Peter
Bramley's laboratory, is in collaboration wth Prof Catherine Rice-Evans
at UMDS, Guy's Hospital where a research assistant will be employed to
coordinate the human supplementation study. Experience in HPLC would
be an advantage.
The appointment, for 30 months, will be on the RA1A scale, (£16,451 -
£23,653) including London Allowance.
