                        JOB ANNOUNCEMENT             

                  RESEARCH TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE  
  ARABIDOPSIS BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE CENTER, OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY            

The ABRC, Ohio State University has an opening for the position of 
Research Associate (technician).  The Center maintains and
characterizes seed stocks and DNA clones and distributes these 
materials to the research community. The individual filling this 
position will assist in receiving seeds, growing and characterizing 
plants, writing seed stock characterizations and distributing seeds.  
This individual will also supervise undergraduate students.        

We are seeking a person with masters degree training in genetics,
plant biology or related area.  Experience with Arabidopsis is 
strongly preferred.   

SALARY RANGE: $22,000 - $25,000.
