DNA isolation procedure

I'm planning to do a number of DNA preps on pooled Arabidopsis lines. I
plan to use 2-week old seedlings grown on plates to reduce the amount of
plant tissue per pool.  Does anyone out there have a good protocol for
making plant DNA from 1-2 g of tissue without dealing with CsCl?  Has
anyone had experience with making DNA from seedlings?  Do they contain more
carbohydrates than adult tissue?  Advice and protocols would be
appreciated.
