Arabidopsis suspension culture.

Dear Arabidopsis people,

Does anybody know if there is a success in growing arabidopsis with suspension 
culture? Or can you refer me to some references in this field? I am interested 
in in vivo assay for enzyme activity by using protoplasts and hoping to find a 
protocol to work witth.

Another question is, do you know how to subscribe this newgroup? A friend in 
Berkeley asked me about that but I am using Window-based newreader without 
subscription.
