Plant Transformation Facility Staff

Iowa State University is establishing a service facility for 
the transformation of crop plants and is seeking candidates 
for three positions:  Facility Director:  This Ph.D.-level 
scientist will be responsible for the overall management of 
the service facility and will provide scientific direction by 
conceiving scientific objectives, conducting research, writing 
grant proposals and sharing knowledge based upon successful 
and significant experience in the transformation of maize or 
soybean.  Transformation Specialists: These M.S./Ph.D.-level 
scientists will transform and regenerate maize or soybeans 
using constructs provided by users.  Candidates must have 
experience in the transformation and regeneration of maize or 
soybean.  Two positions are available-a maize specialist and a 
soybean specialist.    Applicants should send a cover letter

transformation experience, relevant reprints,  resume, and the
