Applications are invited for two postdoctoral positions to study plant
microtubule associated proteins.
A three year research post funded by the BBSRC, and linked with Dr. C.W.
Lloyd at the John Innes Centre, for research on the molecular and cell
biological characterisation of plant MAPs. A firm grounding in plant
molecular biology is required and some experience in protein purification
and cell biological techniques would be an advantage.
A two year research post funded by Bayer to study the function of plant
MAPs in vivo. Preference will be given to plant molecular biologists with
experience in plant transgenics and plant tissue culture.
The Royal Holloway campus is situated in the Surrey Green Belt close to
Windsor and Heathrow with ready access to central London. The appointments
will be at the appropriate point on the RA1A scale (£16,451-£23,653)
