PLANT DEVELOPMENT
The Botany Department of the University of Toronto invites
applications for a tenure-track position in Plant Development at
the Assistant Professor level, starting July 1, 1997. The
successful candidate should have a Ph.D. and, preferably, post-
doctoral experience. We are particularly interested in applicants
using cellular, molecular and genetic approaches to studying
problems in plant developmental biology. Teaching responsibilities
will include participation in undergraduate and graduate courses in
plant development and in cellular and molecular biology. This
position is integral to a new campus-wide Graduate Program in
Developmental Biology. Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae
and a statement of research and teaching interests and arrange for
three letters of reference to be sent to the address below by
September 16, 1996.
