On the Arabidopsis seeds database there are now 17 mutants that are
either ethylene insensitive or else over or underproduce ethylene.
There is even a mutant that is ethylene sensitive in the shoot and
ethylene insensitive in the root!!
The best way to search for the mutant types and order the seeds is via
the
Web. The overall Arabidopsis Database site is at
http://aims.cps.msu.edu/aims/aims.html
The page in the site for searching for mutants is
http://aims.cps.msu.edu/aims/seed-search.html#part2 As I mentioned I
found 17 mutants after searching with "ethylene" as the term in the
phenotype box. You then get a list which you can use to get extra
information or to order the seeds.
