nomenclature?

Hello Arabidopsis netters,

I have a question about the correct nomenclature for Arabidopsis. What is 
it? We have different races, ecotypes and mutants (Columbia and Landsberg 
erecta, are themselves mutants). I am about to submit a paper and cannot 
find a clear description of this. Everybody gives different names for this 
in the literature (i.e. materials and methods) and some not at all. Anybody 
know something about this?
