Seeking an experienced molecular biologist (bachelor or master¹s level),
with interest in plant molecular biology to join an exciting and
successful Regulatory Science team.  This individual will join a
world-class plant biotechnology organization that has recently marketed
a number of genetically engineered plant products.  Candidate should
have extensive molecular biology experience, preferably with emphasis in
characterizing DNA integrated into genetically engineered plants or
experience in genomic mapping using Southern blots and PCR.  This person
will be responsible for providing technical leadership in defining the
molecular structure of DNA introduced into plants (insert number,
complexity and sequence), particularly monocot plants transformed by
particle gun bombardment.  We seek a person with experience or interest
in leading a mini-team of molecular biologists responsible for a variety
of genetically engineered crop plants.  The ability to identify and
integrate new, relevant technologies into the Regulatory Science
molecular biology function is also desired.  Excellent oral and written
communication skills, proficient computer literacy, and proven
leadership abilities are essential.  This position is open immediately.
