Separation of bases

          Dear Netters,

          I am looking for a method to hydrolyze and separate
          nitrogenous bases of DNA & RNA extracted from radio-labelled
          Arabidopsis plants.  The amount of radioactivity in each
          base will be determined by counting in a scintillation
          counter.  Any information or references will be greatly
          appreciated.  Thanks in advance.
