PLANT SYSTEMATIC BIOLOGIST
The Department of Botany, North Carolina State University, invites
applications for a 12-month tenure-track position as ASSISTANT
PROFESSOR, available 1 July 1997. We are seeking an individual to
establish an innovative, competitively-funded research program in
vascular plant systematics, with complementary teaching activities.
Responsibilities will include supervision of graduate students and
academic advising of undergraduates. The incumbent will also be
responsible for curating the NCSU Herbarium. Excellent interpersonal
and communication skills and the ability to participate in
interdisciplinary research are required. Postdoctoral experience is
