Postdoctoral position available after February 1; open until filled.
The project will continue and expand on our work on mutations affecting
cell division patterns during pollen development. Training in molecular
biology and genetics is required; prior experience with Arabidopsis,
reproductive biology and/or microscopy/cell biology is a plus. For
details see: Y-C. S. Chen and S. McCormick, "sidecar pollen, an Arabidopsis
thaliana male gametophytic mutant with aberrant cell divisions during
pollen development", Development 122, 3243-3253 (1996).
