ASSOCIATE/ FULL PROFESSOR
PLANT DEVELOPMENTAL BIOLOGY
THE PENNSYLVANIA STATE UNIVERSITY

The Department of Biology invites applications for a tenured senior faculty
position in plant developmental biology. The Pennsylvania State University
has made a commitment to expanding research and education in the biological
sciences through a new, university-wide Life Sciences Consortium (see
http://www.lsc.psu.edu), which is co-funding the position. Penn State
currently has three NSF funded training grants in plant biology. We are
seeking an imaginative and interactive colleague who uses molecular genetic
tools to research fundamental problems in plant development. The applicant
should submit a curriculum vitae including publications, grant support, and
teaching experience, and a brief statement of research interests (3 pages or
