Moderation wins

The sentiment of the community on moderation of this newsgroup is 
clear: 295 voted for moderation, 31 against and 3 registered 
ambiguous responses.  Therefore, Dave Kristofferson will arrange to 
have the newsgroup moderated.
     As a final note, several people who were opposed to having a 
moderator seemed to be generally opposed to censorship.  I would only 
say that I prefer to think of the moderator as a good secretary who 
will screen us from unwanted noise.
