How to collect good qtt of A.thal.pollen

This probably isn't ideal, but there is an article in AIS (Search from
AtDB) from a group from the then-Soviet Union describing how they collected
pollen to use as a measure of UV damage by the sun. Basically, they left
unopened flowers to dry overnight, then shook out the pollen to a glass
dish. It required too patience for my purposes, though I did attempt it.
