A two-year post-doctoral position is available to isolate and study
knock-out mutants for plastidic membrane transporters which are
involved in carbon export/import and ammonia assimilation. The project
involves targeted insertion mutagenesis and reverse genetic screens of
T-DNA and transposon mutagenized Arabidopsis lines. Isolated mutants
will be analyzed by genetic, biochemical and physiological methods.
The salary is equivalent to a BATIIa position. The applicant should
have a strong background in plant molecular biology and genetics. Mail
