PhD Position in Molecular Plant Biology available

A PhD position with Dr R=FCdiger Simon, Institute for Developmental Biology,
University of Cologne (Germany), is available to study genes that affect
organ initiation and formation in Arabidopsis. The successful candidate will
register for a PhD degree at the University of Cologne. The position is
funded for three years, starting January 1998.=20
This position is open for candidates of any nationality. Language in the lab
and in seminars is english, however, it is expected that candidates will
learn (some) german within the first year.=20
The salary is according to the german BATIIa/2 scale (about 1800 DM/month
after taxes, health insurance etc.)
