POSTDOCTORAL POSITION AT IUPUI

A postdoctoral position is available to study photoregulated protein
kinases from the garden pea. Expression of the two kinases under
investigation is rapidly down-regulated by light. One kinase is closely
related to the blue light photoreceptor for phototropism from
Arabidopsis, while the other may be located in the nucleus. Genetic,
molecular, and biochemical approaches will be utilized to elucidate the
roles of these kinases in the transduction of light signals. Experience
with Arabidopsis transformation, molecular biology, and/or kinase
biochemistry is desirable. To apply, send a curriculum vitae, a
