Postdoctoral Position:  Plant Molecular Biology / Biochemistry


A postdoctoral position in molecular biology/biochemistry is available
immediately at the Plant Gene Expression Center of the U.S. Dept. of
Agriculture/University of California, Berkeley, located in Albany, CA
approximately 2 miles from the University campus at Berkeley.  The
individual will be responsible for characterizing the protein:protein
interaction of the transcription factors that interact with the early
auxin responsive domain of the Aux/IAA genes.  The factors constitute
a novel class that contain the prokaryotic DNA binding motif, baa.  A
strong background in molecular biology and biochemistry is required.
The appointment will be for 2 years with an annual salary of $25,000.
