NAM selection

Hello,
is there anybody who has experience in NAM selection of Arabidopsis seedlings??
I read that a final concentration of 3.5 micromolar in the medium is used. I
would like to know how good this selection is working for other people and how
good the sensitive seedlings can be distinguished from the resistant ones. I
want to do a double selection for hygromycin and NAM, is it better to put the
seeds first on NAM containing medium and after one week to another plate with
hygromycin?
