POST-DOCTORAL POSITION IN PLANT CELL BIOLOGY
The Pennsylvania State University

A post-doctoral associate is sought to complement an existing team who are
using biochemical, molecular genetics, and cell biological techniques to
examine the function and morphogenetic impact of the cytoskeleton in growing
and differentiating plant cells. The successful candidate will have a PhD in
a relevant discipline, experience in molecular genetics, and a desire to
integrate molecular techniques with modern methods of structural cell biology.
Post-doctoral training opportunities at Penn State are enhanced by a
cohesive group of plant cell and developmental biologists who collaborate
extensively on a wide-range of projects. The campus is located in central
Pennsylvania which has a relatively low cost of living with easy access to
major metropolitan areas. The position is available for 2 years with the
possibility of a third. Applicants should send a CV, a letter of research
interests, and arrange to have three letters of recommendation sent to Richard
Cyr, Department of Biology, 208 Mueller Lab, Penn State University, University
Park, PA 16802. (An Affirmative Action/EqualOpportunity Employer/Women and
