8th International Meeting on Arabidopsis Research
June 25-29, 1997
Madison, Wisconsin USA

TRAVEL NOTES

For those who wish to schedule in and out of Chicago rather than
Madison, there is a bus service from Chicago airport to the Wisconsin
Union meeting site (one block from the dormitory, Witte Hall) provided
by the Van Galder Bus Company (12 departures per day; $18 per one way
ticket). This service is not reserved for the meeting and this company
does not accept reservations or advance ticket sales. Tickets are
purchased at the airport. The time of our meeting is scheduled when
there is unlikely to be a large demand on the bus service. The number
to obtain the schedule is 608-257-5593.

SHUTTLE BUS FROM MADISON AIRPORT TO MEMORIAL UNION

Will run on Wednesday, June 25th, from 12:00 Noon to 6:00 pm. The bus
will have signs for the meeting and greeters will wear black shirts and
green ribbons. If you arrive at other times, you can take a taxi
(approx. cost $15) from the airport to the dormitory. The dorm is Witte
Hall, 615 W. Johnson St. It will be open 24 hours a day and details of
how to obtain a key to your room will be mailed in two weeks (we
apologize that the meeting office is late in sending this information).
The meeting site (Memorial Union) is one block (a 3 minute walk) from
Witte Hall.

POSTER SPECIFICATIONS

The area available for each poster is 4ft (120 cm) high by 3ft (90 cm)
