ASSISTANT PROFESSOR/BIOCHEMISTRY
12-month Tenure-Track position at the University of Idaho to begin
by 6/98. We are interested in candidates at the Assistant Professor
level, capable of establishing a nationally competitive program in
plant biochemistry conducting research at the molecular level in 1)
plant protein-protein interaction, 2) effects of pathogens on plant
metabolism, or 3) regulation of plant metabolism. The successful
candidate must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively
and will be responsible for a one-semester undergraduate
lecture/laboratory course in basic biochemistry to be taught each
year and a graduate level course in his/her area of expertise in
alternate years. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry or
related field, postdoctoral experience and documented research
capabilities. Send letter outlining research and teaching interests,
