methylene blue staining

Hello,
I already sent this question but got no answer last august; may be new
people are connected and will be able to answer..?
Does anybody have experience in methylene blue staining of nucleic acids
(DNA) run on acrylamide gels? The problem is apparently to fix the stain:
one can see faint bands at the beginning but they vanish quickly while
rincing the gel...Any suggestions?
