GUS staining photos

Dear Arabinetters,

Does anyone know how to take photos of GUS stained plants without blue
background ?
We usually take photos with a 64 ISO Tungsten film using a tungsten light
lamp (Olimpus Europe highlight 2001) but we often have a blue background
in the photo wich is higher when we convert the slide into a picture.

I would appreciate any information that let us improve the quality of the
photos.
