MG/453 - SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ASSISTANT
A vacancy has arisen for a research assistant to work with Dr David Lonsdale in
the Department of Molecular Genetics. There will be
various group and departmental responsibilities and the position will have line
management for one or two junior staff in the group.
Candidates are expected to have obtained a first or upper second class honours
degree together with considerable experience in
molecular biology. A PhD would be an advantage. The person must be willing to
use and be comfortable with using radio-isotopes, be PC
and W3 literate.
The salary will be in the scale of 15,800 to 19,000 per annum and staff have
the opportunity to join a non-contributory superannuation
