<x-rich>A postdoctoral fellow with a Ph.D. in Biology or a related field is
sought to apply integrated biochemical, cellular and molecular genetic
approaches to research fundamental mechanisms that regulate cambial
meristem function and xylem differentiation. A proven proficiency in
molecular genetic analyses is preferred. Research will use both herbaceous
model plants as well as commercially important woody species. The
Institute of Paper Science and Technology is a private, graduate,
interdisciplinary research institute serving the pulp and paper industry.
It has direct funding and continual interaction with research scientists
from most forest products companies. IPST is located on the campus of the
