POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP

Molecular genetic analysis of flowering time genes in Arabidopsis

Funding for up to three years is available for a postdoctoral position in the
Department of Molecular Plant Genetics at the Max-Planck-Institute for Plant
Breeding in Cologne, Germany.

The project focuses on the molecular genetic characterisation of flowering time
genes isolated from transposon mutagenized Arabidopsis populations.
The work is part of a collaboration between several European scientific and
industrial research laboratories focusing on flowering within the EC Fourth
Framework Biotechnology Programm.

Qualified candidates should have demonstrable experience in the field of plant
molecular genetics. The successful candidate will join a research group with
strong interest in the molecular genetic control of flowering.
