The Department of Plant Sciences, Tel-Aviv University, Israel announces:

Applications are invited for two tenure track faculty positions starting
1999 and 2000. The successful candidates should develop independent
research focusing on organismic botany, plant ecology, plant cell

The Department of Plant Sciences, with its 24 faculty members and 76
graduate students and technical staff, is active in teaching, training
and research of Plant Sciences. The activities at the Department are
geared to develop knowledge and tools important for science and the
community. Studies carried out in the Department of Plant Sciences cover
a very wide variety of subjects ranging from the ecological and
organismic, through the molecular biological and genetic engineering
