   Evidence supports our hypothesis that a regulatory protease is
involved in the signal transduction leading to cell death during
tracheary element differentiation.  An individual with molecular
experience and preferably knowledge of PCD and proteases is sought to
clone the protease and to test the hypothesis by various reverse
genetic approaches.  Applicants must have a PhD.  Send your
