Postdoctoral Associate (1) and Graduate Assistant (2) Positions

One postdoctoral associate position is available immediately at the
Department of Agronomy, University of Kentucky, USA. The successful
candidate will participate in a project that aims to unveil the molecular
regulatory mechanisms of leaf senescence in Arabidopsis using both molecular
and genetic tools. Applicants should hold a Ph.D degree in plant physiology,
biochemistry, bacteriology or a closely related field with a strong
background in genetics. Experience in molecular genetic research is highly
desirable. The initial appointment is for one year but may be renewed for up
to three years depending on the performance in the first year.

Two predoctoral graduate research assistantships are also available
immediately. Successful applicants are to join a team investigating the
molecular regulatory mechanisms underlying leaf senescence in Arabidopsis at
the University of Kentucky, USA. Applicants should have finished his/her
master degree training in plant physiology, genetics, bacteriology,
biochemistry, or a closely related field. Experience with Arabidopsis is
desirable but not necessary.
