Arabidopsis thaliana chromosome IV sequence has been completed by a
joint effort of the European Union Arabidopsis Genome Sequencing
Consortium, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Washington University
St. Louis and PE Biosystems.

Sequence, annotation and analysis data for the 17,5 Mbp of sequence
can be obtained at URL:
http://www.mips.biochem.mpg.de/proj/thal/.

The database supports various query options from map-based navigation to
genes containing specific motifs. In addition a pedantic bioinformatic
analysis of the ~3800 genes on chromosome 4 has been performed and the
results can be queried along different axes.
