FACULTY POSITION

PLANT MOLECULAR GENETICS


The Horticultural Sciences department at the University of Florida is
seeking an ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR who can establish a vigorous,
externally funded research program. Individuals with interests in
functional genomics or structural biology are particularly encouraged
to apply. This is a 12 month, 80% research/20% teaching appointment
with a competitive salary commensurate with experience. The applicant
will participate in the graduate education program and be expected to
develop a course in their area of expertise. This position has an
endowment that is a source of continuing support. The graduate training
and research environment at UF offers opportunities for participation
in the Plant Molecular and Cellular Biology Program and the
Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research. For more

biology or a related field as well as postdoctoral and/or academic
