</bold><bigger>We seek outstanding candidates for postdoctoral and
research associate positions investigating the molecular biology and
genetics of embryo and seed development. Research will be conducted as
part of the SEED INSTITUTE, a newly-created institute-without-walls at
several University of California campuses and at the University of
Utah.  The SEED INSTITUTE  will conduct basic research and training in
embryo and seed development, and is a collaborative effort between
University laboratories and CERES, INC., a Malibu-based plant genomics
company. Successful candidates will join one of the University labs and
interact closely with all other labs in the INSTITUTE.


Postdoctoral and Staff Research Associate applicants with excellent
academic and research records should forward their curriculum vitae,
