A postdoctoral fellowship is available for 1 year starting in January 2000
at the School of Biological Sciences, University of Auckland, New Zealand.
The fellowship also includes a research visit to the laboratory of Dr
Joanne Chory at the Salk Institute (La Jolla, California). The project
focuses on the investigation of the function of the DOC1 (Dark
Overexpression of CAB) gene in the light/dark signalling cascade in the
model plant Arabidopsis. The work will involve identifying protein
interactors with DOC1 using yeast two hybrid and genetic suppressor
screens. The salary is $NZ 45,000- $NZ 48,000 pa depending on experience.
