An NSF funded three year postdoctoral position is available to study
the signal transduction pathway involved in DNA damage-induced cell
cycle checkpoints in Arabidopsis. The position will start sometime
after January, 2000, once a qualified individual is identified.

The Britt lab focuses on DNA repair and damage tolerance in plants.
In addition to the checkpoint project, efforts are underway in the
areas of nonhomologous DNA end joining, the effects of mismatch
repair on homologous recombination, and excision repair of UV-induced
DNA damage.

Inquiries should be sent to the address below, or by reply email.
