Le meristeme d'attente, concept ancien de Buvat, Plantefol, at  autres, mais
peut-etre c'est vrai pour  le  stage vegetative dans le zone  "quiescent",
plus axiale et centrale de la meristeme d'Arabidopsis,  parceque  pour
conserver les mutations contre selection developmentale.
I would welcome comments on this topic, especially the arguments and
evidence against the  concept applying in any vegetative shoot meristem  and
in Arabidopsis in particular. I email to jobro at msn.com.
