There are a number of plasmids designed containing the appropriate tRNA genes for expression in E. coli. You might start with pSBETa, b, and c from a Biotechniques paper by Steinbiss et al. volume 19, pages 196-200. I think that was published in 1995. Hope that this helps. Paul Joyce ---
