Identification of new regulatory genes of nitrogen metabolism
Unit of Plant Nitrogen Nutrition
INRA Versailles

A postdoctoral research position is available (probably starting in
march or april) to identify new regulatory genes involved in nitrogen
metabolism. This project is funded by "Génoplante", the french genomic
platform. The project involves the screening of T-DNA insertion mutants
for selected genes and research of new genes by cDNA-AFLP. Part of the
post-doc will take place (several months) in Montpellier, south of
France, for mutant analysis. Candidates should have a strong background
in genetics and molecular biology. Experience in physiology of
N-metabolism is desirable. This is a full-time position funded for at
least two years. French post-docs working abroad are encouraged to apply.
Candidates should submit a letter of application describing
research experience and interests, a curriculum vitae, and the names and
addresses of two references.
