position is available immediately to work on molecular mechanisms of
host-pathogen interactions in plants. The research includes combined
genetic, molecular, biochemical and functional genomic approaches.
Applicants should have experience in molecular biology and genetics
with a strong publication record.


Yale University MCDB department (http://www.biology.yale.edu) is a part
of university wide combined biological and biomedical sciences program
(http://info.med.yale.edu/bbs/main.html).  The MCDB department houses
about 30 faculty members working in the area of molecular biology,
genetics, cell and developmental biology, neurobiology, plant sciences,
biotechnology and functional genomics.


Yale University is located in New Haven, Connecticut.  New Haven is
situated on beautiful Long Island sound.  New York can be reached in 90
