The Horticultural Sciences Department at the University of Florida seeks
an ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR who can establish a vigorous,
externally funded research program. This is a 12 month, 80% research/20%
teaching appointment with a competitive salary commensurate with
experience. Applicant will participate in the graduate education program
and be expected to develop a course in their area of expertise. The
position has an endowment that is a source of continuing support. The
graduate training and research environment at UF offers opportunities
for participation in the Plant Molecular and Cellular Biology Program
(http://gnv.ifas.ufl.edu/~pmcb/) and the Interdisciplinary Center for

molecular biology or a related field plus postdoctoral and/or academic
