A postdoctoral position is available to study light signal transduction and
photomorphogenesis in Arabidopsis thaliana using molecular biology and
molecular genetics, and to study protein-protein interactions in Arabidopsis
thaliana using genomics and proteomics (see related publications: Cell
95:657-667 1998; PNAS 96:5832-5837 1999; Nature 400:781-784 1999), starting
date negotiable. Experience in molecular biology and molecular genetics will
be a plus. Opportunities will be provided to develop potential projects for
candidate's future professional career. The Department of Plant Biology is
entering a significant phase of expansion in the areas of plant development,
genomics, and evolutionary biology, that provides for the hiring of at least
thirteen new faculties over the next few years. Send, by e-mail, letter of
application, curriculum vitae, and names of three references (including
address, phone, and email) to: Dr. Min Ni, Department of Plant Biology, 220
