AFGC microarray service -- deadlines

NOTICE: UPDATE TO AFGC SCHEDULE FOR MICROARRAY  SERVICES

An updated version of the schedule for service cycles 4 and 5 has been
posted  to the AFGC web site (http://afgc.stanford.edu) (see =93Deadlines=94
section).

Note that only two cycles of service (i.e., cycles 4 and 5) are being
offered in  the 2001 rather than three cycles. However, the number of
slides available in  each of cycles 4 and 5 is approximately double the
number of slides available  in each of cycles 1, 2 and 3.

In response to the cycle 1 and cycle 2 user suggestions, the period of
time  between notification of proposal acceptance and the deadline for
the receipt of  RNA samples has been extended to 14 weeks to provide
extra time for RNA  preparation and QC.
