Applications are invited from an energetic and creative protein
scientist to join and eventually lead a small research group concerned
with proteomic analyses of the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana.
Minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. and at least 2-3 years postdoctoral
experience in analytical chemistry or biochemistry with special emphasis
on protein identification.  Experience in protein mass spectrometric
techniques, including MALDI-TOF and/or Q-TOF is highly desirable.  The
ability to work constructively and effectively in a small group is
crucial.  PlantGenix, Inc. (www.plantgenix.com) is a one-year old plant
biotech company located in Philadelphia and focused on the development
of specific plant applications for membrane transport and ethylene
