The Shanklin Lab at Brookhaven National Lab is seeking
to fill several postdoctoral positions for
biochemistry/molecular biology projects relating
to the accumulation of unusual fatty acids in plants.
The work is mostly concerned with the biochemistry of
lipid modification and processing enzymes.  Our focus
is primarily on structure-function studies and custom
redesign of enzyme properties.  See web site below for

	BNL is a basic science institution located on Long
Island 50 miles from New York City and has large programs
in physics, chemistry and biomedicine.  The Lab is located
close to the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
