As part of a continuing expansion of the Department of Plant Biology at THE
OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY, a tenure-track position is available for a PLANT
MOLECULAR BIOLOGIST at the ASSISTANT PROFESSOR level. Applicants addressing
fundamental questions in plant physiology, signal transduction,
development, biochemistry, and genomics are especially encouraged, but
applications in other areas will be seriously considered as
well.  Postdoctoral experience and a record of excellence in research are
required.  The successful candidate is expected to establish a strong and
creative research program, and to excel in undergraduate and graduate
teaching.  Faculty have the opportunity to participate in the campus-wide
Program in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.  Please submit a
