There is an opening for a post-doctoral fellow in the Plant Disease
Resistance group led by Jane Glazebrook at the Torrey Mesa Research
Institute in La Jolla, California.  The group combines Arabidopsis genetics
and genomics technologies such as genome-wide expression profiling and
high-throughput reverse genetics in an effort to identify genes involved in
regulation and execution of plant disease resistance mechanisms.  The group
operates similarly to basic research groups at academic institutions, with a
strong emphasis on quality research, rapid publication, and participation in
conferences.  Applicants must have a Ph.D. in genetics or molecular biology.
Individuals with experience in plant biology or host-pathogen interactions
